Our Vision
Acro Intensive
Matricks Acro is geared towards helping dancers expand their acrobatic capabilities & building their foundation. We are passionate to teaching dancers how to safely execute acro skills & ensuring that proper technique is learned in a state of the art gymnastics facility. Matricks Acro Intensive is a program aiming to drive students to new levels of personal growth. We emphasize on training flexibility, building core strength and improving coordination. These foundations are built and maintained to so that our acrobats can learn walkover variations, aerials, tumbling, contortion, balances, double tricks and much more! Our program contains highly skilled instructors who work to increase strength, flexibility and technique. Beginner or competitively trained, our goal is to further develop you into a confident acrobat.
Founded by Michelle Hernandez and Monica Sorbara, who have dedicated their lives and careers to learning and teaching Acro Dance. Michelle & Monica have an immense drive to share their knowledge with future generations & strive to ensure their intensives define athletic character and teach unique skills.
Acro Competition
Matricks Acro is excited to present Canada’s Leading Acro Competition. Matricks Acro Competition invites you to join us on our journey to give the public a prestigious platform where acrobats across North America compete for the title of Canada’s Top Acrobat. With a combined experience of 40 years of Competitive Dance, Acro, and Gymnastics, Michelle & Monica found their love for Acrobatics. They noticed a gap in the industry for Acrobats to express their art & sportsmanship. Matricks Acro Competition is an environment where studio owners can bring their acrobats but where also individual registrants can compete as well for our titles.
